Debbie Bent is a practicing artist living in Hertfordshire, she is a fellow of the Digswell Arts Trust with a new studio opening in Letchworth 2012 where she will be working along side sixteen other artists in a purpose built studio and working space.

 Her work centres around the human body and the natural environment exploring issues of belonging and history. She exhibits nationally.

Debbie has also worked on several commissions for public and private spaces.

As well as teaching ceramics and sculpture to adults and children, she works as a community artist around Hertfordshire. Ongoing classes are at Courtyard Arts in Hertford and other children's classes are held at Samuel Ryder School in Saint Albans. She continues to train in areas such as working with vulnerable adults as well pushing the boundaries of her own work.

 Permenant sculptures are at The Maynard Galleries in Welwyn Garden City  and Courtyard Arts Centre in Hertford as well as Smiles Dental Studio in Harpenden who purchased one of her earliest pieces.
